18th Annual Evening with the Irish
April is here again and the men of Division 16, along with their families and friends, descended upon Englishtown, New Jersey for our annual Evening with the Irish fundraiser. As it seems to be every year, 2019’s Evening was the biggest and best so far!
We kicked off the evening with the beautiful sounds of Celtic Connection. The large crowd was then treated to step dancing by four talented, young ladies from The Fitzgerald School of Irish Dance.
We began our ceremony by reviewing the amazing contributions and events our Brothers have taken part in over the past year. Division 16 then recognized two deserving individuals with our annual awards. Kevin Weldon was honored with Irishman of the Year and Ron Byer with Hibernian of the Year. Congratulations to both Kevin and Ron!
As we wrapped up the evening, we raffled off prizes to the raucous crowd and Celtic Connection rocked the night away! We can’t wait to see you all back for our 19th year in 2020!
