2019 Polar Plunge for Catholic Education and Jersey Shore GAA Fundraiser
January 27, 2019 began just as any ol’January Sunday. Except this Sunday was different. This Sunday, was an Irish Sunday. The day started with AOH Division 2’s 12th annual Polar Plunge for Catholic Education in Sea Bright, NJ. Division 16 joined droves of fellow AOHer’s and their friends and families as they forged into the chilly Atlantic in support of local Catholic schools. Almost as quickly as they were in the water, they were out and back to the warm embrace of our host for the day, Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, Sea Bright. Congratulations to Jim Shaw and Division 2 on another successful event!
The Division 16 plungers made their way out of the water and over to The Dublin House to support our Division Brother, Patrick McNelis, and our friends at the Jersey Shore GAA for a fundraiser to continue growing Ireland’s native sports throughout the Jersey Shore.
